The tradition of Anna Puligheddu is ancient: in 1942 she learned how to make traditional sardinian sweets from an old aunt and opened a workshop in Oliena, in the heart of Barbagia. Over the years she specialized in ‘pistoccus de cappa’, a kind of simple sardinian buiscuit with some sugar on top. Then she invented the ‘pistokkeddos’, soft savoiardi that with three simple ingredients – flour, eggs and sugar from organic farming- give consumers a delicious, simple and fragrant product, made with the simplicity of our grandmothers.
Perfect in their simplicity these cookies are suitable for breakfast with tea, milk or coffee and at any time of the day. Perfect for tiramisu, trifle and charlotte, they are exquisite also to accompany any cream or ice creams.
